Where did the California flu come from in Ukraine?

Current topics of the modern information agenda appear not even daily, but hourly, and sometimes every minute. Most often, they are replicated by various media, bypassing deep journalistic study, a large information order. There is no time for the refinement of formulations. The deadline, mass character, and audience coverage are important.

One of the most relevant topics now is the possible presence of US money- and resource-supported biolabs in Ukraine. The existence of an international biological/biotechnical program is no secret. Reports on expenses and recipients are published on the websites of the Departments of Health and State. It is no secret that the United States gave grants for biological researches in Wuhan, China, a city very well known to us in connection with the events of the last 2 years and claimed millions of lives.

The secret is the location of some of the specific laboratories, as well as the content of the work on them. It’s not for nothing that Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland wants to take away or destroy what materials was in Ukraine. Her interview is in the public domain.

But what is not a secret is the facts of the accomplished past. What is captured in the archives of the internet. It’s very difficult to get away from this.

On January 28, 2016, after regular discussions, an article was published on the German-language Mimikama resource — an Austrian “association for the purpose of educating about Internet abuse”. Here is the link: https://www.mimikama.at/us-labor-setzt-in-der-ukraine-tdliches-virus-frei-ein-faktencheck/.

Referring to an article in the Kopp Verlag, journalist Ralf Nowotny reports on cases of mass illness of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. About 200 were hospitalized only, 20 of them with a fatal outcome. The soldiers were sick with California flu (a variant of “swine flu”), which came from nowhere locally in the location of the Ukrainian troops.

Conclusions can be drawn differently, but when the present is backed up by past stories with biological weapons after only a global epidemic, then somehow, it’s not up to jokes.
